DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Senior Planner to play a vital role in coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Lead projects for strategic customer initiatives.
• Support the overall 2% Contractual Cost Down for Freight and be responsible for delivering new initiatives allocated to LLP Freight Planning.
• Drive CI & process improvements within the Freight planning team across all planning teams to create a standardised approach.
• Collaborate with Transformation teams to help deliver projects & cost reductions allocated to that team across Rail & Short Sea freight.
• Support all planning managers with BAU and launch activities.
• Manage large data sets.
• Manage 2 planners.

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Knowledge of DHL systems, specifically OTM, Paragon, and Coupa (desired), as well as customer systems SAP and CMMS.
• Previous experience in a freight planning role.
• Strategic, multi-modal planning experience.
• People management experience is desirable.
