Senior Planner - SC Cleared

Our client, a leading consultancy in the defence and security sector, is currently seeking a Senior Planner to join their team on a contract basis in Derby.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing, maintaining and updating project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure schedules are met and projects are delivered on time
• Conducting regular progress reviews and providing updates on project timelines
• Identifying potential schedule risks and developing mitigation plans
• Communicating effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Providing detailed reports and presentations on project status

Job Requirements:

• Experience in planning within the defence or nuclear sectors
• Proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6
• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
• Security clearance (SC) or having held SC previously
• Ability to work part-time, 2-3 days per week, in Derby
• Availability to start from June onwards

Contract Details:

• 6-month initial contract with potential for renewal
• Market rate - hourly, umbrella (Inside IR35)
