Senior Piping Designer

Our client is currently looking for a skilled and detail oriented Senior Piping designer to join there engineering team, the role will be Outside of IR35 and offering a rate that is commensurate with your experience. The client will also be offering the opportunity of Hybrid working, this position will be working within the Water industry and helping to support the design and co-ordination of Water infrastructure projects.

The right candidate will be responsible for producing 3D models and detailed general arrangement drawings (GAs) using Revit, they will also develop layouts of wet and dry well pumping stations, concrete pump chambers, ductile iron and epoxy coated carbon steel pipework, valves and pipe support systems.

The client will be looking for applicants who are proficient in Revit and basic structural layout design as well as having a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks. Candidates will also benefit from experience with wet and dry well pumping stations, ductile iron and epoxy coated carbon steel pipe systems as well as understanding of pipe supports, equipment access requirements and plant layout.

Candidates must have previous experience of working within the Water industry or a similar industry and have the knowledge of relevant standards and codes for piping design and health and safety requirements.
