Are you a physiotherapist eager to develop your skills in an intermediate care setting? Join our dynamic rehab team on Foxbury ward for 12 months to cover maternity leave.
We seek a motivated individual to work within a well-established multidisciplinary team, supporting band 5 therapists, rehab assistants, apprentices, AHP students, and nursing colleagues to provide high-quality rehabilitation and discharge planning for patients transitioning from hospital to home.
Foxbury ward is renowned for excellent, evidence-based clinical care that is safe, effective, and responsive. We foster a supportive environment to help patients regain independence. Senior staff support is available through regular supervision and training.

Main dutiesFoxbury ward is a 30-bed intermediate care rehab unit. The post holder will promote patient independence through rehabilitation and enablement, working collaboratively across primary, community, secondary, voluntary, and public sectors to deliver intermediate care pathways in Bromley.
The role includes conducting complex assessments, developing treatment plans, leading group education, and service development, primarily working with elderly patients focusing on goal-oriented discharge planning.

- MSc in related field
- Leadership/management training evidence

- Time management and organization
- Recognizing frailty impacts
- Initiative and independence
