We are hiring for a Senior Pensions Administrator who would be based in one of our offices in Redhill, Leeds or Welwyn. In this role, you will handle more advanced calculations and complex schemes (DB and/or DC) and play an active role in mentoring and checking the work of Pensions Administrators.

The Role
  • Work within an administration team, servicing member and client queries related to DB and some DC pension schemes.
  • Collaborate with the Team Leader to ensure all service level agreements and performance standards are met.
  • Deputise for the Team Leader in their absence.
  • Serve as a senior reference point on technical issues and non-standard cases.
  • Review and challenge work performed by less experienced associates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Train, support, and mentor junior associates, providing regular feedback.
  • Assist with complex or project work, including handling complaints.
  • Identify areas for service improvement and communicate findings to the Team Leader.
  • Ensure targets and deadlines are achieved.
Qualifications

The Requirements

  • Experience in administering occupational pension schemes.
  • Experience in coaching and supporting less experienced associates.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication.
  • Good time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
  • High accuracy in work performance.
  • Customer-focused and committed to quality.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
