Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Conveyancing department, setting strategic objectives aligned with the firm's growth plans.
• Manage a portfolio of complex and high-value residential and commercial conveyancing matters.
• Review and approve contracts, legal documents and property transactions.
• Provide expert advice on property law, real estate development and investment matters.
• Recruit, mentor and develop solicitors, paralegals and support staff.
• Oversee quality assurance, regulatory compliance and risk management across the department.
• Develop long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients, developers and commercial partners.
• Drive business development, departmental profitability and operational performance.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Conveyancing and Property Law.
• Current practising certificate and SRA membership (or equivalent).
• Proven leadership experience managing legal teams and departments.
• Exceptional knowledge of residential and commercial conveyancing.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development expertise.
• Excellent client relationship, communication and negotiation skills.
