Senior Packaging Engineer

Senior Packaging Engineer vacancy for our Münchwilen based client in the Chemical Manufacturing sector.

Your tasks:

• Coordinate packaging development activities and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Translate design briefs into innovative, cost-effective and compliant packaging solutions.
• Develop and evaluate packaging concepts, including pilots and low-risk testing approaches.
• Ensure packaging compliance with regional legislation and transport requirements for dangerous goods.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including formulation, application, logistics and testing stakeholders.
• Support packaging data management and portfolio screening activities.

Your experience/knowledge:

• The position requires 3-5 years of packaging engineering experience, strong data management capability, and project coordination skills to maintain overview, ensure interconnection between workstreams, and support compliant implementation of packaging-related requirements.
• This position is required to strengthen packaging engineering capacity for PPWR-related activities, packaging data management, portfolio screening, and cross-functional project execution. The role will act as a key interface between Packaging Development and its stakeholders, potentially involving SPS, Biologicals, F&P, testing activities.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing technologies and compliance requirements.
• Experience in project coordination and managing multiple workstreams independently.
• Strong data management and documentation skills.
• Language skills: English
