Job Description

General summary:


The Senior P&C Business Partner is responsible for creating, updating, and applying all P&C processes, policies, company guidelines, and systems and special projects on legal, finance, and organizational matters related to human resources. To provide expert advice and counsel to leaders and employees with regard to all aspects of human resources, including, but not limited to, employee relations, performance management, and training and development. Participates with other senior managers to establish short and long-term strategic plans and objectives for the business. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company. This position works closely with all members of the EMEA team and the KEEN HQ People & Culture team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Partners with leadership to understand priorities and provide strategic HR guidance and support
  • Develops and implements HR initiatives to support organizational growth and change.
  • Provides day-to-day support for employees and managers regarding P&C programs, HRIS system, policies, and company guidelines across all disciplines such as recruitment, sick leave, legal compliance, compensation, and benefits.
  • Responsible for human resource administration such as creating & updating documents (e.g., contract, handbook), personnel files, salary amendments, and reports.
  • Manages recruitment process, including: assisting in the creation of job descriptions, benchmarking, conducting interviews, advising on candidate selection, and & contracts with external recruiters, and job offers.
  • Maintain and further develop onboarding, retention, and exit processes, including onboarding training and exit interviews.
  • Responsible for sick leave procedure: compliance with Dutch and German law, training managers, reporting, contact/contract with company doctor, health check (PMO), emergency team (BHV).
  • Drives employee engagement by analyzing employee engagement surveys (Winningtemp), creating action plans, and partnering with managers by providing reports, advice, and ideas.
  • Identifies training needs with managers and develops/coordinates training for employees on various topics, including management, job, and cultural training.
  • Manages the annual review process, including planning, instructing the managers, following up on results, reporting to HQ, and administration. Works closely with the P&C Operations team to process merit and market adjustments as well as bonus payments.
  • Partners with management and employees to communicate various company policies, procedures, programs, and regulations.
  • Works closely with the Finance department to ensure timely and accurate payment of wages.
  • Partners with various international teams around communication, compensation, equality and inclusion, change management, and learning and development.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve P&C processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leads initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
  • Works with cross-functional teams to integrate P&C initiatives into business practices.



Qualifications:

  • Higher Professional Education in HR.
  • Relevant work experience in Human Resources, min. 4 years
  • General knowledge of HR disciplines, including benefits, compensation, recruitment, employee relations, laws, and regulations.
  • Ability and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Strong business attitude with excellent and direct communication skills.
  • Language skills - Fluency in English, very good understanding of Dutch.
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal, listening, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Ability to solve problems with high energy and a positive attitude. Experience in conflict management, training, coaching, and giving/receiving feedback.
  • Exceptional organizational, follow-u,p and customer service skills as well as proven decision-making expertise.
  • Ability to demonstrate discretion and maintain confidentiality with employees at all levels.
  • Comfortable presenting to small and large groups.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and HRIS systems.


Key Relationships:

This person will need to work successfully in a diverse environment with many nationalities and cultures and develop positive relationships with management and employees locally and abroad in Germany and the global P&C team.


Physical Requirements:

(Bi)weekly conference calls with colleagues working in the US HQ (9-hour time difference) are part of the role.

This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 3 days at the office in Rotterdam.
