Senior Network Engineer - Overview

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team and help deliver secure, resilient and high performing network services that support our global business. Based in our Park West, Dublin office, this is a hybrid role with three days per week onsite. You will play a key role in designing, modernising and supporting our global network infrastructure across on premises, cloud and SaaS environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, modernise and support the global network infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Information Security, Cloud Engineering, Workplace Technology and external partners to shape the future of network services.
• Own challenging technical projects spanning network architecture, security, cloud connectivity, resiliency and operational excellence.
• Drive network automation and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and other modern automation tools.
• Deliver business critical initiatives and improve the employee experience worldwide.
• Maintain enterprise routing, switching, wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and network security.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure within complex, multi site organisations.
• Strong expertise across routing, switching, wireless, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, network security and high availability design.
• Proven experience administering Cisco Meraki switching and wireless environments.
• Hands on experience with Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls, SD WAN, secure remote access and modern SASE connectivity solutions.
• Experience designing and supporting Azure networking, including hybrid connectivity and secure cloud integration.
• Experience using IaC and automation technologies such as Terraform, Python, PowerShell, REST APIs or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust networking principles, network segmentation and secure enterprise connectivity.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills across on premises and cloud environments.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across cross functional teams.
• Passion for continuous improvement, automation and introducing best practices.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, NSE, Azure Network Engineer Associate or equivalent are highly regarded.
