Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Network Architect to join a team responsible for designing and evolving enterprise network platforms across a large-scale technology environment. This role will play a key part in delivering secure, resilient and scalable network architectures supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain network architecture roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Design and implement secure, high-availability network solutions across on-premises, cloud and edge environments.
• Lead the integration of network services and platforms across multiple technology domains.
• Provide technical governance and architectural leadership across network initiatives and operational services.
• Develop architecture standards, policies and best practices, with a focus on automation and standardisation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners and key stakeholders to deliver strategic outcomes.
• Support resilience, business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
• Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on strategic networking decisions.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience in senior network engineering or network architecture roles.
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, WAN technologies and MPLS.
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex network architectures in highly available environments.
• Strong understanding of network security, vulnerability management and remediation practices.
• Experience within hybrid and cloud-connected networking environments.
• Familiarity with automation, operational standards and network governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.

Desirable Skills

• CCNP, CCIE, Azure Network Engineer Associate or similar certifications.
• Experience with SD-WAN, Zero Trust and modern security architectures.
• Knowledge of network automation tools such as Python, Ansible or NetBox.
• Exposure to Azure, AWS or multi-cloud networking environments.
• Understanding of container networking, Kubernetes and modern infrastructure platforms.
• Experience working within large, complex or highly regulated organisations.
