Job Description:

As a Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for achieving profitable sales growth at Asda for the Mars Snacking business. This role involves maintaining strong relationships and executing customer plans to meet objectives related to revenue, growth, profit, product assortment, shelving, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and seasonal merchandising.

What are we looking for?

• Prior retail account management experience
• Fluent understanding of forecasting, Nielsen, and trade management systems
• Expert negotiation skills
• Experience in consumer goods or FMCG

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead on the confectionery seasonal range with Asda
• Create and execute customer solutions for profitable sales growth in seasonal, placement, and shelving, including merchandising and pricing, aligning with customer and company objectives
• Influence customers through fact-based presentations to implement solutions beneficial for both parties
• Manage new product launches with timely and effective execution to maximize impact
• Ensure accurate forecasting and follow-through on solutions with customers
• Manage trade funds in compliance with requirements and optimize spending effectiveness
• Provide category insights and recommendations for growth, incorporating customer feedback and potential solutions
