We work at the interface of Programme, Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial and Engineering to ensure each major supplier is resourced, aligned and operationally ready to deliver safely, efficiently and predictably across the full lifecycle.In this context, we're looking for a Senior Mobilisation Manager to lead the mobilisation of one or more of our strategic supply partners. You'll shape supplier relationships, define and implement operating models, lead readiness planning through FOAK and into global scaling, and build the internal RR SMR capability required to operate effectively with major delivery partners.Reporting into the Head of Supplier Mobilisation, you'll be instrumental in embedding a high performing, collaborative and continuously improving approach across the business. We'll need you to: Lead the mobilisation of the supplier delivery model, ensuring full alignment with RR SMR's operating model and programme needs. Ensure RR SMR is organisationally ready to work with suppliers - including budgets, resourcing, governance and cultural alignment. Build and lead a high performing cross-functional team within RR SMR to work effectively with the supplier. Develop and manage mobilisation plans for the next 12-24 months, setting scope, milestones, objectives and forward pathways. Drive proactive engagement across programme, operations, commercial and supply chain teams to deliver integrated mobilisation outcomes. Shape commercial considerations such as incentives, risk-share, gain/pain share and performance frameworks. Champion best practice methodologies, continuous improvement and innovation across mobilisation activity. Lead cross organisational engagement to ensure operational readiness and scalable delivery processes. Oversee initial requirements, risk management, progress monitoring and stakeholder communication. Ensure suppliers are fully embedded into the RR SMR operating model and delivering quantifiable benefits. You'll bring: Qualifications & Experience A degree (or equivalent industry experience) in Engineering, Project Management, Supply Chain, Business or a related field. Chartered (or working towards) with a relevant professional body (desirable). Proven experience leading complex projects or programmes within energy, infrastructure, engineering or similarly regulated industries. Strong commercial acumen with experience influencing contracting strategy, negotiation and supplier performance frameworks. Leadership experience in matrix environments, with the ability to coach teams, set direction and foster inclusive, high performing cultures. Demonstrated capability in developing mobilisation, readiness or scaling plans across complex organisations. Excellent stakeholder management at all levels, including senior leaders, technical experts and external partners. Strong decision making, problem solving and organisational skills in fastmoving and uncertain environments. Beneficial (not essential): Experience supporting FOAK/NOAK or largescale infrastructure delivery programmes. Background in change management, operating model development or organisational readiness. Global or multisite delivery experience. Track record of building high performing teams. Location & Ways of Working This role can be based from our Derby, Manchester or Warrington offices, with hybrid working and regular travel to supplier and stakeholder sites across the UK.
