Senior Mobile Engineer (Android & iOS, IoT/Bluetooth)

As we continue to refine our product suite, we are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to develop high-quality mobile applications for Android and iOS, leveraging Bluetooth for IoT integrations.

1. Mobile App Development

• Develop and maintain stable, performant Android and iOS applications with a focus on healthcare use cases.
• Adhere to established industry standards for secure, reliable, and user-friendly mobile solutions.

2. IoT & Bluetooth Integration

• Integrate various Bluetooth-enabled healthcare devices, ensuring accurate data capture and real-time communication.
• Troubleshoot and optimize connectivity issues, making sure all medical data transfers remain consistent and secure.

3. Collaboration & Coordination

• Work closely with Backend and DevOps teams to synchronize app features with server-side APIs and infrastructure.
• Participate in code reviews, providing direct, constructive feedback to maintain high standards.
• Coordinate with QA for rigorous testing, guaranteeing that all mobile and IoT functionalities meet compliance and performance benchmarks.

4. Security & Compliance

• Implement security and privacy controls, particularly with personal health information in mind (GDPR, HIPAA).
• Enforce best practices for safeguarding sensitive data during Bluetooth transmission and mobile storage.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Evaluate emerging technologies, focusing on solutions that strengthen reliability and user satisfaction.
• Share expertise with junior developers, instilling pride in craftsmanship and a respect for proven methods.

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of professional experience in Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development.
• Solid knowledge of Bluetooth (Classic and BLE) protocols and implementation patterns.
• Proven experience interfacing with IoT devices for data collection, command and control, or real-time communication.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and standard mobile architecture patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM).

Healthcare & Security

• Prior experience in regulated industries (healthcare, finance) is a plus.
• Understanding of data security best practices and compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA).

• Clear and direct communication style with the ability to translate technical details into straightforward language.
• Ability to work independently, while also thriving in team-oriented environments.
