JOB SUMMARY
CDW's Microsoft Solutions team is a group of Solutions Architects and Specialists that is part of the wider Microsoft Practice.
The role has three key areas of responsibility, which are broken down by:
- Act as a senior architect, using your expertise and the wider team to own opportunities, engage with customers, and win enterprise-scale business across the Microsoft Azure stack.
- Support the development of the team and the department by contributing to projects and helping junior team members achieve their career goals.
- Develop and maintain your skills through research, self-guided learning, lab work, and formal training or accreditation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Opportunities - Collaborate with customers, partners, and sales to qualify opportunities and deliver value through Microsoft and other technology solutions.
- Documentation - Produce high-quality documentation.
- Handover - Support smooth project transitions into delivery teams and act as an escalation point during project lifecycle and transition into service.
- CDW and Azure Evangelist - Promote CDW capabilities to customers in a credible, friendly manner, highlighting our productized services, consulting, and Microsoft expertise.
- Internal Collaboration - Build strong relationships across the business including Sales, Professional Services, Managed Services, and the wider CDW community.
- Partner Engagement - Cultivate relationships within the Microsoft ecosystem to stay updated and advise customers effectively.
- Commercial Acumen - Understand the business impact of solutions and assist in selecting appropriate options that meet budget and expectations.
- Sales Enablement - Guide sales teams technically and promote team capabilities.
- Customer Retention - Build trust with key customers by understanding their environments.
- Management Support - Contribute to leadership activities including meetings, appraisals, and providing coverage as needed.
- Accreditation - Achieve and maintain relevant certifications.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft ecosystem, capable of owning and winning complex opportunities.
- Advanced Azure skills, with specializations in Data, AI, or Cybersecurity preferred.
- Ability to lead transformational customer journeys delivering tangible benefits.
- Experience selling professional and managed services.
- Passion for learning and delivering presales expertise across technologies.
