Penspen is currently recruiting for a Ltd contract Senior Mechanical Rotating Engineer.

This is a high-level position requiring a minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 8 years within the field of Mechanical Engineering in major oil and gas projects.

Candidates should have a strong background in rotating equipment design.

Requirements

• Work experience in major accident hazard industries in an oil and gas environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams and cultures.
• Extensive knowledge of Mechanical and Rotating Equipment, including gas turbines, diesel engines, and gas compressors.
• Working knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME and API, including API-STD-610 and 617.
• Experience in creating and modifying PFDs and P&IDs.
• Experience troubleshooting and performing major repairs on oil and gas rotating equipment, such as air compressors, pumps, and diesel generators.
• Experience creating schematics and piping diagrams.
• Experience conducting failure analysis and providing recommendations for failed rotating equipment.
• Experience with rotating equipment and piping field installation, commissioning, and testing.
