Location: Brierley Hill

Compensation: £35,000 - £45,000 / year

About the role

The successful candidate will work as part of the mechanical design team to deliver projects from feasibility through to construction (RIBA Stages 1-6).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, specifications, and project management of mechanical projects across all RIBA stages.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure projects meet British Standards, CIBSE Guides, and relevant legislation.
  • Conduct Mechanical Services Feasibility Studies and Energy Efficiency Reports.
  • Participate in project meetings and design department planning sessions.
  • Develop strong relationships with team members.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Essential Skills:
  • Ability to manage workload and communicate effectively with clients and teams.
  • Experience in project leadership and client-facing roles.
Desirable Skills:
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, mechanical design, and installations.
  • Understanding of utility services connections/disconnections.
Qualifications:
  • ONC/HNC in building services engineering or equivalent.
  • Understanding of electrical services.
Experience:
  • Background in mechanical engineering, consultancy, or installations.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and IES software.
  • Experience with renewable systems and related design software like Design Builder, Cymap, BIM, and Revit.
