Who are you?

Are you a motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects? Are you constantly upskilling and comfortable managing multiple projects at once? Do you hold a degree in Mechanical- or Aerospace Engineering, possess relevant experience (5 -7 years) and have excellent written and verbal communication skills? If so, we're looking for you to help lead the execution of our cutting-edge technology roadmap.

Task description

You will contribute to the advancement of Equinox's innovative ocean current turbine technology by performing a wide range of professional mechanical engineering tasks under guidance. Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing engineering challenges and developing creative, practical solutions;

• Preparing and overseeing the creation of mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, and detailed cost and/or quantity estimates;

• Assisting in the development and finalisation of technical and construction contract documents;

• Drafting technical engineering reports and project-related correspondence for a variety of R&D and or projects;

• Collaborating with internal team members, external engineers, drafting technicians, and contracted personnel;

• Embracing a hands-on working attitude - applying a full-cycle approach: think - design - build - test - experience;

• Adhering to offshore safety and health regulations and promoting a culture of safe working practices.

Our offer

• A one-year contract for an average of 40 hours per week, with the option to extend;
