The Role
We are seeking an experienced product marketer to develop, lead, and execute the GTM strategy for Morningstar DBRS credit rating products and services in our EMEA market. This role involves delivering data-driven market insights, defining product positioning and messaging, and executing demand generation campaigns to identify growth opportunities in key markets. Initially reporting to one direct report, this position offers opportunities for leadership growth within a rapidly expanding region, impacting one of Morningstar's largest business units.
The Senior Marketing Manager will oversee all product marketing activities in the EMEA region, serve as a subject matter expert to regional leads, and drive regional pipeline growth. Collaboration across teams such as Business Development, Brand, and Event Marketing will be essential to advancing initiatives.
Ideal candidates will have experience in developing campaigns and GTM strategies within financial services or related sectors, with the ability to translate strategies into ROI-driven demand campaigns. Strong communication skills and a proven track record in cross-functional collaboration are required.
This role reports to the Global Senior Product Marketing Manager in New York and can be based in Frankfurt, Madrid, or London, with a hybrid work policy of at least 3 days onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute the GTM strategy for credit rating products to foster business growth in EMEA.
- Manage the marketing calendar for campaigns, programs, and events to ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and provide actionable insights.
- Create and optimize data-driven demand generation campaigns to meet pipeline targets.
- Implement content marketing strategies leveraging thought leadership content.
- Organize and promote in-house events, including webinars and roadshows, in partnership with Central Events Marketing.
- Handle pre- and post-event campaigns, lead capture, and collateral development.
- Create client testimonials, case studies, and marketing content to support sales efforts.
- Craft compelling copy for campaigns and sales assets.
- Analyze and report on marketing program performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Perform additional duties as needed to meet business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of successful product marketing experience in financial services, with knowledge of credit rating products preferred.
- Proven ability to develop campaigns and demand generation programs.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, capable of managing initiatives and delegating effectively.
- Strong digital marketing expertise, including email marketing and marketing automation platforms like Pardot.
- Exceptional communication skills for crafting messaging and marketing copy.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
- High attention to detail and excellent execution skills across campaigns.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects efficiently.
- Willingness to travel as required.
