About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Media Manager to join the Global Media Team within a global iconic tech brand's Corporate Marketing & Public Affairs division. This role plays a critical part in designing and executing sophisticated, data?driven media strategies that reach key audiences and support high-impact issue campaigns. You will collaborate with marketing, insights, decision science, creative, policy and communications teams, as well as external media agencies, to deliver integrated media programmes across multiple international markets. This is a fast-paced role requiring exceptional media expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage high-volume, multi?market campaigns with flawless execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Strategy & Planning
- Develop measurable media strategies grounded in audience insights, clear objectives, and business outcomes.
- Shape strategic points of view on media innovation, measurement and industry trends.
- Use quantitative and qualitative insights to influence audience targeting, channel selection, and execution plans.
Campaign Leadership
- Lead multiple concurrent media workstreams across complex, international campaigns.
- Oversee flawless planning, execution and optimisation of campaigns with significant budgets.
- Identify white?space opportunities to drive long-term strategic growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Build strong partnerships with internal teams (Marketing, Insights, Decision Science, Creative, Policy & Comms).
- Work closely with regional external media agencies and central media teams to ensure global cohesion.
- Develop fully integrated media activations that elevate brand and product narratives.
Data, Insights & Performance
- Use data to inform media and audience strategy, ongoing optimisation and execution decisions.
- Proactively troubleshoot roadblocks to ensure seamless delivery across markets.
- Analyse campaign performance against KPIs and deliver actionable, strategic recommendations.
You will be part of the Strategy & Media Planning Team, supporting the Public Affairs vertical. This function leads high-profile, complex and fast-moving campaigns that require strategic rigor, excellent coordination, and robust stakeholder management.
Candidate RequirementsTop 3 Non-Negotiable Skills
- Media strategy & planning expertise (deep, multi-channel experience).
- Pace, rigour and data?centric approach to decision making.
- Public Affairs experience (issue campaigns, policy-relevant initiatives).
- 10+ years in media strategy, planning or integrated media roles.
- Proven success managing complex, multi?market campaign portfolios at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Strong communication, alignment-building and cross-functional collaboration skills.
