Job Summary:This is a 12-month role, linked to parental leave.
4 days a week based in Hammersmith, with one day working from home on Monday or Friday.
Overall Purpose of the RoleThe EMEA DCP marketing team collaborates with the brand commercialization (BC) team and category teams to deliver campaigns aligned with brand strategy and category needs, consistent with global DCP marketing strategy.
This role involves planning and executing marketing strategies for priority evergreen brands and major properties, working with PR, BC, category teams, and brand franchise management (BFM) to leverage brand assets and cross-company activations to support business objectives.
The candidate will take marketing leadership to drive the success of brand campaigns from B2B pitches to consumer engagement, ensuring campaigns support commercial goals and deliver a strong ROI. The role requires strategic insight, business acumen, and an innovative approach, keeping abreast of industry, consumer, and media trends to ensure campaigns are relevant, impactful, and localizable.
Building relationships internally and externally is crucial. The role involves managing partnerships and joint business planning to support strategic growth in licensing sales across the EMEA region.
Responsibilities Marketing Planning- Lead annual marketing planning for brand and cross-franchise campaigns, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with global marketing, regional brand commercialization, and BFM to develop campaign materials.
- Plan and manage timelines for creative strategies in response to commercialization objectives.
- Share plans with local marketing teams and facilitate regional integration.
- Promote best practices and maintain consistent processes across markets.
- Partner with brand commercialization to ensure seamless communication across properties.
- Stay updated on trends to keep marketing content innovative and relevant.
- Oversee campaign workflows and track progress, providing weekly updates to the Marketing Director.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and campaign decks.
- Coordinate with creative teams and agencies to ensure timely, on-budget production of campaign assets.
- Lead regional campaign status meetings and ensure effective stakeholder communication.
- Manage team resources to optimize workload and development opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional teams to execute campaigns across regions.
- Identify priority SKUs for campaigns.
- Work with partners to leverage promotional commitments.
- Collaborate on creative toolkit development and campaign assets.
- Ensure regional teams have relevant campaign information.
- Amplify campaigns through owned media and cross-line collaborations.
- Operate with integrity, champion change, and promote diversity and inclusion.
- Engage in professional development and support team training.
- Suggest improvements to departmental processes.
- Build broader knowledge of Disney's business functions.
- Ensure legal compliance through appropriate training.
- Report to the Marketing Director.
- Responsible for planning, delivering, and executing marketing campaigns that meet business objectives.
- Manage the marketing budget within guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with legal and corporate standards.
