Job Title: Search Marketing Manager - Secondment / Fixed Term (Maternity Cover)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Search Marketing Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity cover. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and data-focused marketing professional to lead and optimise our search marketing activity, driving high-quality traffic, engagement, and measurable performance outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering effective search marketing strategies across paid and organic channels, ensuring campaigns are aligned with organisational objectives and deliver strong return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive search marketing strategies (SEO and PPC).
• Manage and optimise paid search campaigns to maximise performance and budget efficiency.
• Lead on keyword research, competitor analysis, and performance tracking.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign effectiveness using analytics tools.
• Collaborate with content, digital, and communications teams to ensure integrated marketing delivery.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement based on performance data and industry trends.
• Manage agency relationships where applicable.

About You

You will have:

• Proven experience in search marketing management (SEO and PPC).
• Strong analytical skills with experience using performance and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads).
• Experience managing marketing budgets and delivering measurable ROI.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A relevant degree or professional marketing qualification is desirable.
