Forward Role are working with a global, mission driven technology organisation who are investing in how it uses data to drive growth. The business is recruiting a Senior Analyst to partner with Senior Leadership in Marketing and the wider business, to ensure data is being used to make informed decisions and drive growth.
It's a commercially focused, senior analytics position designed to remove guesswork from marketing strategy and directly influence performance across demand generation, acquisition, and revenue growth.
You will operate as the dedicated data partner to Marketing, embedded within the function and working shoulder to shoulder with senior leaders. Your remit is to turn complex marketing data into clear direction - shaping attribution models, informing budget decisions, and backing recommendations with evidence.
This role has been created as part of a broader shift towards a more prescriptive, high impact business partnering model, where analytics plays a central role in commercial outcomes.
You'll work across B2B and B2C models, including ecommerce and subscription based propositions, in an organisation with a broad product ecosystem and ambitious international growth plans.
Role & Responsibilities:- Act as the strategic data advisor to senior marketing stakeholders
- Own the analytics agenda across marketing channels, covering paid media, SEO, email, social and lifecycle marketing
- Define and defend marketing attribution models, with confidence in what should be measured, why it matters, and how it should be interpreted
- Translate data into clear commercial recommendations that influence budget allocation, ROI, ROAS and demand generation effectiveness
- Partner closely with central data and engineering teams to shape and deliver scalable data products that meet real business needs
- Elevate data literacy within Marketing, setting a clear standard for what "good" looks like when using insight to make decisions
- Balance strategic thinking with hands on analysis
- Heavily commercially focused Marketing Analytics background
- Proven experience working with marketing data, partnering closely with marketing teams and bringing data to life
- Strong knowledge of channels, funnel metrics, attribution and campaign performance
- A track record of shaping or delivering high impact data products rather than one off analysis
- Commercial acumen is essential - understanding how data ties back to revenue, retention, growth and P&L
- Confident operating a senior level, influencing senior stakeholders and holding your own as a trusted advisor
- SQL, dbt, Looker experience
