Senior Maritime Engineer

Their UK maritime division is thriving, with a strong pipeline of high-profile port and coastal infrastructure projects. We're currently looking for an experienced Maritime Engineer with 5+ years of relevant industry experience to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on significant maritime, port, and harbour design projects as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You'll contribute to the technical design and delivery of major schemes, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and play a key role in mentoring junior engineers. The role offers flexibility, with hybrid working arrangements that include two days per week in one of their UK offices: Manchester, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Belfast, or Southampton.

Key qualifications and experience:

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in civil or maritime engineering, ideally with exposure to port, harbour, or coastal infrastructure
2. Strong design skills and understanding of relevant codes and standards
3. Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment on large-scale infrastructure projects
4. Proficiency in engineering design software (such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools)
5. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; chartered or working toward chartership preferred
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and disciplines
