Sr. Manager, People Services (EMEA)
Our fast paced, highly collaborative Global People Team (GPT) at Slalom is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, People Services (EMEA) to lead and evolve People Services delivery across the EMEA region. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing a team that provides HR operational support across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, and the Netherlands, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and high-quality employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle. As a hands on leader, the Senior Manager will be responsible for day to day operations, team performance, workload management, and escalations while driving continuous improvement, service excellence, and operational efficiency. Partnering closely with the Sr. Director of People Services, People Business Partners (PBPs), and GPT Centers of Excellence (COEs), this individual will play a key role in shaping the future of our global HR service delivery model, advancing digital transformation initiatives, and delivering scalable solutions that support Slalom's continued growth across the region.
Responsibilities- Own the People Services strategy, service delivery model and operational outcomes across EMEA, partnering with global People Services leaders to standardise processes, simplify workflows and drive cross-regional consistency while meeting regional business, regulatory, employee and local market needs.
- Lead, coach and develop a high performing People Services team, fostering a culture of accountability, operational excellence, continuous improvement and exceptional employee experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to People Business Partners, GPT Centers of Excellence and business leaders, building strong cross functional partnerships across the Global People Team, Finance, Legal, IT, Benefits, Payroll and other functions to provide expertise on people operations, policies, compliance and employee lifecycle processes and deliver strategic initiatives and organisational priorities.
- Drive regional service delivery excellence by establishing performance expectations, monitoring service metrics and capacity, and implementing improvements that enhance quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Lead workforce planning, resource allocation and operational readiness activities to ensure the People Services team effectively supports evolving business priorities and organisational growth.
- Champion digital transformation and modernisation efforts, including the evolution of ServiceNow HR Service Delivery, leveraging automation, AI enabled capabilities, self service solutions and knowledge management practices to improve the employee experience, increase operational efficiency and enable scale.
- Use data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, translating insights into actionable strategies that improve operational performance and effectiveness.
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex employee and operational matters, balancing risk management, compliance requirements, employee experience and business outcomes.
- Provide oversight of employment law compliance and people operations governance across EMEA, partnering with Legal, PBPs and COEs to ensure adherence to local regulations and company policies.
- Lead change management efforts related to organisational growth, business transformation, process evolution and new technologies, ensuring stakeholders are engaged, informed and prepared for change.
- Drive a customer centric service culture focused on continuous improvement, responsiveness, quality and delivering a seamless employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.

- You thrive in highly collaborative global environments and have a proven ability to partner across regions to establish consistent processes, drive operational excellence, and deliver a seamless employee experience at scale.
- 8+ years of progressive People Operations, Shared Services, or HR Service Delivery experience within a complex global organisation.
- Must be in Dublin or Manchester
- 3-5 years of direct people leadership experience
- Significant experience leading & scaling People Services, HR operations or shared services across multiple EMEA countries in a complex, matrixed multinational organisation.
- Proven success leading high performing teams and improving service quality, capacity, efficiency and employee experience through data and operational insights.
- Strong knowledge of EMEA employment practices and regulatory requirements, with sound judgement in managing complex matters and risk.
- Experience leading process improvement, change and HR technology transformation; ServiceNow HRSD and Workday proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder leadership, with the ability to translate business priorities into scalable solutions while balancing strategy with hands on execution.
