Job Description
Overview Our dedicated NSE Extended Delivery Centres cover a range of services and functions to support engagement teams in the delivery of audit and assurance work. These include delivery of technical audit work by offshore and onshore centres, administrative and project management assistance and specialist technical support from our centres of excellence.

This is a 12-month maternity cover role within our central NSE Extended Delivery Audit and Assurance Team. The role is full time and will be focused on leading a long-term strategic project, the Audit Delivery Hub.

Audit Delivery Hub Infrastructure Lead Delivery Hub looks to transform and simplify the way our NSE Geographies engage with our NSE A&A Delivery Centres. This will be achieved through consolidating access to our Delivery Centre resources within a single NSE entity to optimise resource utilisation and engagement across our NSE geographies. This project focuses on one of the firm's strategic priorities and includes collaboration and contribution to a broader cross-service line and cross business extended delivery project. This involves proactive communication and collaboration with SMEs across Deloitte's service lines, globally and regionally, addressing concerns and managing expectations throughout the transition through strong relationships with internal senior stakeholders across the NSE network.

The first phase of transition is to go live on 1 June 2026.

This project focuses on one of the firm's strategic priorities and includes collaboration and contribution to a broader cross-service line extended delivery project. This role involves a significant amount of stakeholder interaction and management across key infrastructure operations teams (HR, Legal, Finance) across NSE.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Lead the implementation of a new financial structure for A&A Extended Delivery Services within a single NSE entity which is scalable for other businesses, service lines and delivery centres. This involves migrating existing financial processes and systems, contributing to new financial solutions and managing the associated change effectively.
  • Management of NSE and Global SMEs and collaborating with them to develop the approach and implement the changes effectively. This includes coordinating their cross-service line contributions, resolving conflicts, and ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
  • Coordinate with A&A Delivery Centre operations leaders and Geography representatives to ensure a smooth transition and adoption of the new financial structure, minimising disruption and fostering collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholders mentioned securing their support and managing their expectations throughout the transition e.g. functional leads (Tax, Legal, HR, IT), Delivery Operations Leaders and Management.
  • Oversee and mentor a project manager and subject matter expert (SME), guiding them on best practices for both project delivery, change management and A&A ways of working. This includes identification and mitigation of project risks and consideration of potential areas of resistance to change.
  • Facilitate and chair various forums, including SME working groups and project review boards, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to manage the change process successfully.
  • Develop and deliver regular progress reports to the Director and Partner in Charge, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Develop the BAU entity operations plan for A&A post transition and phase 1. This would include an onboarding process for future additional centres.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Extended Delivery Services strategy by optimising the utilisation of Delivery Centres.

Someone who has practised experience in communicating with a variety of stakeholders and challenging others to think outside the box to maximise performance and manage change and strategy implementation. You take a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and adapt well to a changing environment and stakeholder needs.
  • Previous experience with GDN models; providing a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with global delivery models, and the implications of change on these models.
  • Proficient accounting and finance knowledge including system and processes end to end integration and interaction.
  • Proven experience leading and delivering large scale projects with complex stakeholder structures with a focus on building consensus and managing expectations during periods of change.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management, particularly across diverse teams and geographical locations,
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on identifying and addressing potential change-related issues proactively.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, while effectively managing change
  • Experience managing and mentoring project teams and as a team leader. Taking accountability and responsibility for managing team performance, focusing on with a focus on coaching and supporting team members in person and remotely.
  • Existing Audit and Assurance Extended Delivery knowledge
  • Familiarity with the NSE network and Geographies
