Senior Manager - GBS/ SSC Finance Transformation

Our client is a leading global consulting organisation seeking a Senior Manager - Finance Transformation (Global Business Services) to join their growing practice in Ireland.

This role sits within a high-performing Finance Transformation team delivering large-scale, end-to-end transformation programmes to multinational clients. Due to continued growth in Global Business Services (GBS) and increasing demand for finance operating model transformation, the business is expanding its leadership team to help clients modernise finance functions, embed new technologies, and drive operational excellence across their organisations.

What will I be doing?

• Lead complex finance transformation programmes across Global Business Services environments
• Deliver current state diagnostics, target operating models, and transformation strategies
• Develop implementation roadmaps and transition strategies for clients
• Design and implement finance processes across R2R, O2C, and P2P
• Advise on and deploy technology enabled solutions, including automation and AI opportunities
• Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across client organisations
• Lead multiple workstreams and manage high performing consulting teams
• Drive organisation design and service management frameworks
• Support business development through solution design and client engagement leadership

What kind of skills and background will I need to have?

• 8+ years' experience in finance transformation or Global Business Services
• Proven track record delivering large scale transformation programmes
• Strong experience in consulting or professional services environments
• Expertise in finance operating models and process transformation
• Experience managing senior client stakeholders and leading engagements
• Strong programme leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of finance technologies, automation, or AI solutions
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem solving abilities
• Ideally:
  • Professional accounting qualification
  • Experience with service management frameworks and tools
  • Exposure to digital finance technologies and analytics solutions
