This role will lead the Talent Deployment - Audit team aligned for CLR. With a fixed book of work and a complex pattern of regulation and accreditation requirements, it is critical that the Audit Resourcing Senior Manager CLR can optimize resourcing within the performance group. The appropriate allocation of resources significantly impacts quality, financial results, and the people experience, which are key pillars of our strategy.
The role reports directly to the Head of Talent Deployment - Audit, with a dotted line to the CLR HoPO.
The role holder will ensure the smooth operation of the resourcing model within the CLR performance group, focusing on:
- Demand planning, including awareness of the portfolio pipeline and broader portfolio management activities.
- Collaborating with relevant KGS teams aligned to resourcing and the performance group.
- Talent allocation.
- Managing the Flexible Resource Pool.
- Identifying and allocating under-utilized or spare resources.
- Liaising with senior stakeholders for effective conflict resolution.
- Supporting SOQM controls related to resource assignment in Audit.
The role also involves supporting the Head of Talent Deployment - Audit in driving change and embedding resourcing within first-line responsibilities, offering opportunities to influence audit priorities and strategy.
This position provides a chance to be involved in the strategic priorities of Audit and the Firm, focusing on optimizing workforce sources and providing operational insights. It also supports transformation initiatives, including post-EMpowered changes and other feedback from the business.
Daily responsibilities include demonstrating skills in negotiation, process optimization, managing transformations, and coaching team members.

As the Audit Resourcing Senior Manager CLR, your key accountabilities include:
The Resource Delivery Model must:
- Ensure engagement staffing and optimize utilization, balancing fair work allocation with quality commitments.
- Operate clear escalation and resolution processes understood by Audit and leadership.
- Deliver a forward-looking resourcing plan as agreed with Audit leadership.
- Manage SOQM processes related to engagement assignments, ensuring checks and documentation are in place.
- Maintain cost-effectiveness through blended onshore/offshore workforce and technology.
- Coordinate with other KBS teams (e.g., Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition) to ensure consistent demand fulfillment practices.
- Provide accurate, metric-based data to leadership and stakeholders for performance monitoring and benchmarking.
- Enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring the Talent Deployment Team meets operational needs and fosters a positive colleague experience.
Performance Management:
- Manage Resource Managers and be accountable for team performance and recruitment.
- Focus on service delivery outcomes, metrics, workload management, and addressing high or low workload areas.
- Promote an inclusive culture aligned with KPMG values.
- Leverage MI reporting for insights.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Deep understanding of Talent Deployment and operations in Audit or similar industry.
- Resilient, adaptable to change.
- Experience partnering with senior business leaders and operational delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement and coaching.
- Ability to handle large volumes, lead in high-performance environments, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills to influence outcomes and shape strategy.

- Resourceful networking skills within audit, KBS, and broader firm.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with experience in data analysis and reporting.
