In this position, you will inspire your team, improve asset care processes, and ensure top standards in maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities :

People Management

• Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing maintenance team.
• Foster a positive work culture with coaching, training, and development opportunities.
• Inspire collaboration, motivation, and personal growth within your team.

Maintenance Leadership

• Ensure equipment reliability, uptime, and safe production environments.
• Optimize maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and reduce operational costs.
• Lead and implement preventive maintenance plans to extend equipment life.
• Oversee the maintenance budget, including outsourced services such as facility management.
• Guarantee compliance with food industry standards (HACCP, BRC, FDA, Halal, Kosher, etc.).

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with production, quality, engineering, HR, and safety teams to align maintenance priorities.
• Collaborate with the Automation Manager to ensure maintenance requirements are integrated into new system architectures.

Operational Excellence & Energy Management

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on energy efficiency and utilities optimization across 19 buildings.
• Launch and follow up on energy reduction and sustainability programs.
• Manage a team of 6 direct reports focused on reliability and asset performance.

Profile: Who Are We Looking For?

You are a strategic and hands-on maintenance leader who:

• Holds a Master's degree in a technical field, or a Bachelor's with equivalent experience.
• Has 7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Brings expertise in asset care, preventive maintenance, and cost-effective process optimization.
• Is fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).
• Has solid experience managing budgets and working with SAP.
• Collaborates easily across departments and is motivated by driving change and performance.
• Is energized by leading a complex, high-performance maintenance operation.
