Freelance Data Scientists & Machine Learning Engineers - Consultancy Projects (Barcelona)

• €500 - €750 per day

We are hiring multiple Freelance Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to join a long-term client delivery programme with a leading consultancy based in Barcelona.

You'll partner with clients across industries to solve real-world data challenges through AI and Machine Learning-from strategy to production.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and delivering AI/ML solutions to tackle complex business problems
• Running experiments, developing hypotheses, and validating ML models
• Leading the end-to-end implementation of AI solutions, from data preparation to deployment
• Communicating findings to both technical and non-technical client stakeholders
• Contributing to client capability building and promoting best practices

Tech stack:

Python, Azure Machine Learning, Databricks, MLflow, OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, Tableau (or similar BI tools)

• Remote from Spain with onsite client meetings in Barcelona
• Immediate and July 2025 starts available
• Long-term client project pipeline with follow-on work expected
• €500 - €750 per day
