As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on NLP, you will design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models that drive impactful products in the life sciences and biomedical domains. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, scientists, and engineers, to translate complex biological problems into scalable ML solutions. This role offers the opportunity to influence the architecture of production pipelines, mentor colleagues, and push the boundaries of AI in scientific research, all within a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.

• Design, implement and optimize NLP and ML models for high-performance, production-ready pipelines.
• Collaborate with scientists and product managers to capture domain-specific requirements accurately.
• Lead or contribute to the authoring of technical design proposals aligned with platform roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities for technical improvements and implement solutions proactively.
• Ensure robust and scalable code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and review sessions, taking ownership of deliverables.
• Advocate for process improvements and cross-team knowledge sharing.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on NLP.
• Strong experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and image/data processing libraries (e.g., OpenCV, scikit-image).
• Experience building and deploying ML models in cloud environments and production pipelines.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of working with cross-functional teams.
