Our client, a leading global financial services organisation, is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join their international legal function, based in Dublin. This is a 6-12 month interim contract offering exposure to complex, high-impact work across multiple business areas. As part of the European Legal team, you'll partner closely with business leaders and support with initiatives at both local and group level.
Responsibilities- Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial, insurance and regulatory agreements
- Support the General Counsel and executive team in managing Central Bank of Ireland and European regulatory requirements
- Advise on compliance initiatives, monitor and implement EU and Irish regulatory changes
- Work collaboratively with legal and compliance colleagues across Europe
- Qualified lawyer (Ireland) with experience in insurance/financial services and corporate/commercial law
- Proven track record supporting management and cross-functional teams
- Skilled in commercial negotiation in a fast-moving environment
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
