Overview

APG is the leading pension administrator in the Netherlands, serving 4.5 million members. As Senior Legal Counsel within the Group Legal team you will advise senior management, boards and drive strategic legal projects across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Advise senior management, boards and directors on complex corporate legal matters.
  • Work independently and collaborate with a team of 10 jurists within the Group Legal group.
  • Contribute to strategic projects that directly influence the course of APG, its customers and participants.
  • Deepen expertise in contracts, governance, liability and pension law.
  • Work from Amsterdam or Heerlen, depending on your preference.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Dutch Law (WO-opleiding).
  • 10 years experience in private law with depth in contract and company law.
  • Strong analytical mindset, solution oriented and excellent communication skills.
  • Governance insight and understanding of societal and financial interests.
  • Ambition to grow and actively contribute to the team.
  • Experience with pension law is a pre requisite.
