Senior Legal Counsel - Hybrid - London

Senior Legal Counsel role sits between the general Legal team and the broader Credit, Surety & Political Risks (Special Risks) Legal team. Experience in CSPR is not essential as full training can be offered, but a keen interest is preferred.

Duties of the Senior Legal Counsel will be:

Policy drafting / review with brokersFile review and independent checksNon reliance advice to clients regarding terms and conditions of a policyGuidance to clients on policy wording compliance with Basel directivesAssistance with claims and restructuring of policies Legal team:Provide effective legal advice to manage legal risk across the business Ensure that all aspects of legal risk across the business are identified and controlled in the implementation of new projects, systems and proceduresProvide education, training and support to the business on relevant legal issues and developmentsProvide legal advice and support to the business.French is an advantage
