The role:

The company's sphere of business suggests a wide variety of legal issues, from routine tasks to unique complex projects.


Tasks to solve:


  • Drafting and reviewing contracts with counterparties from different jurisdictions.
  • Development of internal policies and contract templates, actualization of standard forms within several jurisdictions.
  • Participation in due diligence and KYC procedures.
  • Monitoring of legislative norms, under which the company's activity is regulated.
  • Assessment of legal risks and development of recommendations to minimize them.
  • Preparation of legal opinions on various legal issues (including, without exception, intellectual property, labor, personal data protection, and information security laws).
  • Reviewing and filling-out tender (auction, bidding) documentation.
  • Support in solving corporate legal issues including relations with state authorities (optionally)


Qualifications:


  • Law degree from a recognized university; additional international legal qualifications are a plus.
  • 5+ years of legal experience, including legal support of cybersecurity or software businesses.
  • Strong understanding of international business law, including cross-border transactions, data protection, and IP rights.
  • Proven ability to draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Spanish.
  • The role is temporarily remote, and in a few months it will become a hybrid with at least 3 days a week in Madrid.
