Senior Legal Counsel - Media (Part-time)

Your new company and role

This company is an exciting and innovative sports start-up with a passion for eco-friendly technology. The growing team is looking for a media lawyer to join them 3 or 4 days a week on a hybrid basis. This role will regularly collaborate with different areas of the business, particularly the media and content teams.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience with media rights and distribution deals with content distributors, broadcasters, OTT providers and other emerging platforms. An ability to draft and negotiate digital rights deals with telecommunication operators and direct carrier billing (DCB) companies. A commercially minded approach to advising on legal and regulatory issues relating to media rights and broadcasting. Previous experience with live events and related agreements including production, location, operational and talent release agreements. A driven and solutions-focused approach to finding practical legal solutions. Previous experience in sports is preferred. 6-8 PQE as a guideline only.
