This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Laravel Developer to join a forward-thinking organisation's IT and development team, working on modern, scalable systems that support a large and diverse user base.

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications built using Laravel, PHP, Vue, TypeScript, MySQL, and AWS services. The position combines hands on development with technical leadership, contributing to architectural decisions, modernisation of legacy systems, and mentoring of other developers.

This role is ideal for an experienced full stack developer who enjoys working across backend and frontend technologies, driving best practice, and helping shape the technical direction of a growing digital platform.

The Role

• Design and develop modern, scalable applications using Laravel, Vue, TypeScript, and MySQL
• Lead the delivery of complex features and contribute to system architecture and technical decision making
• Improve automated testing, performance, security, and overall code quality
• Build and maintain high quality APIs and frontend SPA/PWA interfaces
• Mentor developers and support best practice across the engineering team

The Person

• Strong experience with Laravel, PHP, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue and TypeScript
• Solid understanding of application architecture, performance optimisation, and secure coding practices
• Experience working with AWS services and containerised deployment environments
• Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
• A collaborative team player with experience supporting and mentoring other developers
