Job Description
Role - Senior Landscape Architect (LVIA) Location - Greater Manchester Salary - £40 - £45K We are looking for a Senior Landscape Consultant to join a growing multidisciplinary team in Greater Manchester. Our client is a well-established Landscape Institute Registered Practice with over 400 employees working across various sectors. The successful candidate will be an integral part of a friendly, supportive team. Staff wellbeing is a priority, embedded throughout the organization and central to their purpose. THE ROLE
  1. Undertaking landscape and visual appraisals
  2. Assisting in the delivery of landscape and other inputs into Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning applications
  3. Conducting landscape research and strategic green infrastructure studies, including desk studies, consultations, data management, analysis, and report writing; liaising with clients and statutory bodies as necessary
  4. Designing mitigation schemes for developments
  5. Preparing landscape implementation and management plans
  6. Managing small landscape and other contracts, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, third parties, and clients
  7. SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • A degree/postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
  • Experience in fieldwork and desk work related to Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and/or Landscape and Visual Appraisals
  • Experience in design, including detailed landscape construction and planting plans
  • Creativity and technical competence in design schemes, with good horticultural and ecological knowledge and awareness of sustainability criteria
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), capable of producing plans, sections, and construction details
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A full, clean driving license
