Senior JIRA Adminstrator/Atlassian Tooling Lead

*Atlassian Tooling Lead/Senior Jira Administrator- Contract role*

We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Tooling Lead/Senior Jira Administrator to support a large enterprise environment during a transition phase. The role focuses on ensuring platform stability, optimizing configurations, and supporting business teams in effective use of Jira and Confluence.

The client needs someone to start ASAP and they need 3 days onsite presence in either Copenhagen or Warsaw.

Key Responsibilities

• Own stability, performance, and day-to-day operations of Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud
• Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Coordinate with Atlassian support and third-party app vendors
• Configure and maintain workflows, schemes, fields, permissions, dashboards, and reports
• Design, implement, and optimize Jira Automation rules
• Maintain integrations with enterprise systems (ITSM, SSO, CI/CD, APIs)
• Manage projects/spaces, including creation, clean-up, and standardization
• Act as the main point of contact for Jira/Confluence-related requests
• Translate business requirements into scalable configurations
• Ensure proper documentation, governance, and platform best practices
