Senior Java Developer - About the Role

As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a central role in the design, development, and optimisation of scalable software solutions within a complex and evolving IT environment. This position combines hands-on development with a strong architectural mindset, especially focused on web-based platforms and integrations with external systems.

You will collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless application performance, high availability, and alignment with long-term business objectives.

Senior Java Developer - Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve scalable software architectures aligned with business requirements
• Contribute to corrective and evolutionary maintenance of web applications and external system integrations
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure reliable interface management
• Ensure adherence to performance and security standards throughout the application lifecycle
• Create technical diagrams and architectural documentation
• Support end users by providing application guidance and helpdesk assistance
• Oversee the maintenance and integration of external platforms connected to internal systems

Senior Java Developer - Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong experience in back-end development with Java
• Familiarity with e-commerce applications
• Knowledge of application integration, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure)
• Knowledge of web oriented applications
• Familiarity with containerization
