Location: Glasgow/Bournemouth - fully onsite
Salary/Rate: £409 INSIDE IR35

Company Introduction

The Java developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC, JavaScript, and MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture using AWS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, Spring MVC, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Some hands on knowledge on React JS, Redux, HTML5, CSS3
• Some exposure to frontend testing tools like Jest
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
• Oversee the development of documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies.
