Senior iOS Developer

iOS Developer | Location: Cheshire East | Hybrid | On-site 4 days per week | £50,000-£75,000 DOE

Overview

We're working with a Cheshire-based technology business that is expanding its in-house mobile capability. They are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to help design and build high-quality mobile applications that place user experience at the centre of the product.

This role suits someone who enjoys being close to the product, collaborating regularly with designers and engineers, and working on-site as part of a hands-on delivery team.

The Opportunity

You'll play a key role in developing and evolving a core iOS application, with a strong focus on usability, performance and visual polish. The work involves both feature delivery and continuous improvement, with real influence over how the product looks and feels.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining native iOS features using Swift and SwiftUI

• Translating UI/UX designs into intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences

• Working closely with design and product teams to refine user flows and interactions

• Integrating APIs and collaborating with Back End engineers

• Contributing to code quality, best practices and technical discussions

• Supporting testing, releases and ongoing optimisation of the iOS app

What the Client Is Looking For

The client is seeking a developer with solid commercial experience who is confident owning iOS features end-to-end.

Key requirements:

• 4-5 years' experience developing native iOS applications

• Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI (and Swift) in production environments

• Demonstrable UI/UX skills, with a good eye for layout, interaction and usability

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with Back End services

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows

• A pragmatic, detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering polished user experiences

Working Environment

This is a highly collaborative, product-focused environment where developers are encouraged to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions and take ownership of quality. Regular in-person collaboration is a key part of how the team works.

Package & Benefits

• £50,000-£75,000 salary, depending on experience
