About Us

Storyteller is a high-growth B2B SaaS platform that enables companies to integrate Stories into their platforms. Popularized by Instagram and Snapchat, Stories boost user engagement, audience retention, and advertising revenue. Building a stories experience can take years and significant investment, but Storyteller offers a solution to integrate this in days for a monthly cost. Our platform provides native iOS, Android, and Web SDKs, publishing tools, analytics, and ad support. Responsibilities

• Improve internal technical practices and processes, including adopting new technologies
• Lead projects from conception to completion
• Understand and fulfill business objectives
• Maintain high code quality standards
• Proactively execute tasks without explicit briefs
• Collaborate with other team leads for cohesion and efficiency
• Work with non-technical team members to enhance overall technical output
• Provide technical guidance to less experienced developers
• Liaise with project management for technical input
• Utilize and improve DevOps processes and tools for rapid delivery
• Eliminate technical debt
• Fix emergency software defects and share lessons learned
• Define technical architecture for products
• Contribute to SDK development for reuse by other developers

Qualifications

Essential:

• At least 5 years of iOS development experience using Swift
• Experience with Dependency Injection frameworks
• Experience with SwiftUI, Combine, RxSwift
• Proficiency with Git
• Experience with Unit Testing and testing frameworks
• Good practical knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Open-mindedness and willingness to learn

Nice to have:

• Experience in Android development
• Published apps in App Store
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Deployment
• Good Object-Oriented practices
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Active GitHub profile

Payment

Up to £75,000/year (employment contract) or up to 84,000 EUR/year (contractor), depending on experience.
Contract type varies by location: UK (full-time employment, remote UK) or EU (full-time contractor, remote Europe).

Recruitment Process

1. 30-minute pre-interview via MS Teams about experience, career goals, and motivation.
2. 60-minute technical interview via MS Teams with our Mobile Head and Senior iOS Developer, discussing experience, projects, and technical skills.
3. Technical task submission.
4. Final 30-minute interview with our CTO and Mobile Lead, covering technical and cultural fit.
