Role Purpose:

We're currently recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join our Ireland Internal Audit team to take ownership and deliver a challenging portfolio of audits with an opportunity to work on high profile audit engagements and influence senior stakeholders.

What you'll do:

Support the Head of Audit, Ireland to execute the annual audit plan for Vodafone Ireland

Perform end-to-end internal audits in line with Vodafone Internal Audit methodology and produce high quality audit reports with relevant and achievable audit findings

Ensure audit reports are accurate, fact based, concise, relevant and communicated with impact

Support the Head of Audit in working with management to ensure that control weaknesses identified have been satisfactorily remediated within the agreed timelines

Communicate effectively with process owners during the execution of audits for which you are accountable and ensure that management are promptly informed of identified control weaknesses

Support the Head of Audit in preparing local Audit & Risk Committee papers

Liaise with the Group Internal Audit function, enterprise risk, legal and regulatory compliance functions and other relevant teams to ensure timely and effective communication of potential risks to Vodafone Ireland's control environment;

Develop sufficient knowledge of Vodafone's business to be effective in analysing and identifying potential risks and control weaknesses

Who you are:

Batchelor or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Administration, Economics, Accounting)

5 years relevant professional experience, preferably Internal Audit experience in a listed plc

Experience in business process, risk management, internal control, risk and compliance, efficiency analysis

Curious, engaged and driven

Ability to work under pressure and deliver quality outputs on time including performing audits at different stages of completion

Excellent communication skills, being able to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of seniority

Positively manages stakeholder relationships whilst maintaining independence and objectivity

Experience using Data Analytics to obtain quality insights/conclusion

Attention to the detail while able to see the big picture and ensure relevance
