Job Description

Financial Adviser

Midlands Hybrid - Multiple Locations

£75,000 - £85,000 + 25% New Business Bonus + Net New Money Bonus + Long-Term Incentive + Benefits + 8% Pension

Are you an experienced Financial Adviser looking to join a growing, independent financial planning business where you can play a genuine role in the next stage of its growth?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established wealth management business with approximately £1.3bn AUM, strong backing and the infrastructure of a larger group, whilst retaining a close-knit, family feel and strong focus on client relationships.

The business has ambitious plans to triple in size over the next five years, driven by a combination of organic growth, new client acquisition and selective acquisitions. As part of this continued expansion, they are looking to appoint experienced Financial Advisers who want to do more than simply inherit and service a client book.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop new business, grow existing relationships and contribute directly to the wider growth of the business, with a remuneration package designed to reward commercial performance.

The Role

  • Manage and develop long-term relationships with an existing portfolio of high-value clients.
  • Deliver high-quality independent financial advice across pensions, investments, retirement and broader wealth planning.
  • Develop new business and actively identify opportunities to grow the client base.
  • Work with more complex and higher-value planning requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective clients and professional connections to generate new opportunities.
  • Work closely with Paraplanning and Administration teams to deliver a high-quality client experience.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the business as it works towards its ambitious five-year growth strategy.
  • Utilise the firm's offices across the Midlands, with flexibility around where and how client meetings are conducted.

The Person

  • Experienced Financial Adviser
  • Strong track record of managing and developing client relationships.
  • Comfortable advising high-value clients
  • Commercially minded with a proven ability, or genuine appetite, to generate new business.
  • Confident managing both an existing client bank and developing new relationships.
  • Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum; Chartered status would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Professional, ambitious and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a growing business
