The Xceptor Delivery Team delivers varied Xceptor projects across the financial services industry, from short deliverables and consultancy opportunities to longer term strategic change/transformation projects. The team provides expertise in how Xceptor can be configured and deployed to solve client business problems, involved from project inception through to go live.
As a Senior Implementation Consultant you will ensure key client relationships are developed and maintained, assist from project inception to go live, gather customer requirements, configure the product, manage the full development cycle and subsequent implementation, and play a lead role in delivering solutions.
The role is highly collaborative and technical, requiring strong analysis, communication, and relationship building skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance to clients throughout project delivery, from requirements gathering to solution implementation.
- Design, configure, build, and test technical solutions while ensuring high quality documentation and best practices.
- Ensure solution design and configuration quality, oversee coding standards, code reviews, and project test strategies.
- Lead demos, manage releases, and resolve technical issues, acting as an escalation point when needed.
- Intervene in significant or persistent issues, developing effective plans to resolve challenges and instill best practices.
- Communicate proactively with clients, project managers, and technical teams, keeping stakeholders informed and concerns addressed.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive team culture by mentoring peers and encouraging knowledge sharing.
Required Education & Experience
- University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with programming (preferably in object oriented languages such as C#, C++, Java, Python), relational databases (preferably SQL Server), and XML.
- Good knowledge of Excel or Access is beneficial.
- Relevant customer facing experience within a software solutions organization is highly desirable.
