We're looking for a proactive and detail-driven Senior Human Rights Manager, available for a mid-November start date, for a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Business Reputation and Responsibility department and lead human rights initiatives that drive meaningful impact across our global operations, supply chains, and communities.

What you'll do:
Help shape, maintain, and improve IHG's human rights programme.
Lead the development and implementation of our Responsible Labour Requirements including designing/running processes to verify and monitor levels of compliance and supporting corrective actions/remediation of issues identified.
Maintain and develop tools and processes to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting on human rights risk and performance.
Identify external insights on business and human rights - such as laws, regulations and stakeholder scrutiny - to anticipate and mitigate potential impacts on the business.
Act as a champion for human rights across the business, driving awareness and understanding, building strong relationships and ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
Support the active management of partnerships with NGOs, consultants, and other external stakeholders to deliver collaborative projects.
Lead the creation of content for key disclosures, including IHG's Modern Slavery Statement and Annual Report.
Draft responses to external benchmarks and surveys on corporate human rights performance.
What you'll bring:
Experience in business, NGOs, or consultancy, implementing the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
Experience of project management and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to define, coordinate and execute projects, manage complex data and identify pragmatic solutions.
Ability to translate human rights risks and challenges into actionable insights and improvements to policies/processes.
Strong communication skills that allow you to build meaningful relationships and influence stakeholders.
A proactive and collaborative approach to work, motivated by making a positive impact.
