Job Description
Senior HR Manager - 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Richmond upon Thames - 2-3 days a week

£50,000-£60,000 plus bonus

Are you a people-focused HR leader with a passion for coaching, culture, and strategic delivery? An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Senior HR Manager to join a dynamic and collaborative team within an international financial services organization.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover role (18 months) where you'll play a pivotal part in delivering the people strategy, driving performance and development initiatives, and supporting a small but high-performing HR team.

Key areas of responsibility:
  1. Acting as Deputy to the Head of HR and key contact for senior leadership on operational HR matters
  2. Managing, mentoring, and coaching the HR team to deliver against key people objectives
  3. Driving the learning and development agenda, including career planning, coaching, and technical training initiatives
  4. Leading performance management and talent development processes
  5. Supporting inclusion, culture, and CSR programmes
  6. Playing a hands-on role in employee relations, change initiatives, and business project support
What you'll bring:
  1. Strong experience in senior HR roles with previous experience managing a small team
  2. CIPD qualified
  3. A hands-on, proactive leadership style with the ability to coach and influence
  4. Solid knowledge of L&D, performance frameworks, and ER best practices
  5. High emotional intelligence, resilience, and a collaborative mindset
  6. Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders
