Job Description
Private Household Personal Assistant Job, Barnet

We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and discreet Private Household Personal Assistant to support a High-Net-Worth family with the day-to-day management of their personal administration, household operations and executive support requirements. Working closely with the principals, this role will ensure the smooth coordination and execution of the family's personal affairs. The successful candidate will be loyal, show longevity within previous roles, be proactive, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining absolute confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities: Executive & Personal Support
  • Manage complex personal and family diaries, appointments and schedules.
  • Coordinate meetings, personal commitments and family engagements.
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations, briefing documents and meeting materials.
  • Coordinate reminders, follow-ups and action tracking.
  • Prioritise competing demands and proactively manage changing schedules.
  • Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and complete discretion.
Household Management
  • Act as the central point of coordination for the day-to-day running of the household.
  • Liaise with household staff, and external service providers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Coordinate household maintenance, servicing and routine contractor visits.
  • Monitor household calendars and planned works across multiple properties where applicable.
  • Support the coordination of household projects, refurbishments and improvements.
  • Ensure household documentation, warranties, manuals and service records are maintained.
  • Coordinate deliveries, collections and household logistics.
Administrative Support
  • Manage confidential records and documentation.
  • Process expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support budget tracking and expenditure reporting.
  • Assist with budgets and invoice management.
  • Ensure requests are clearly communicated and executed.
  • Support the resolution of scheduling conflicts and prioritisation issues.
  • Track actions and follow up to ensure tasks are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Liaise with external advisers, suppliers, and service providers on behalf of the principal.
  • Coordinate insurance renewals, memberships and household subscriptions.
  • Liaise with accountants, solicitors, insurers and other professional advisers as required.
  • Support family office administration and ad hoc projects.
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience supporting a high-net-worth individual, family, executive, or family office.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and prioritise changing demands.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and digital collaboration skills.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
  • Flexibility to travel when required.
  • Additional language skills are desirable

Start date: As soon as possible

Working Week: Monday -Friday

Working Hours: 8am -6pm with flexibility.

Salary: £80k+ plus fantastic - benefits & perks
