# Senior Group Accountant Job Introduction Job Introduction: Due to continued rapid growth across the business, a new role has opened up for a Senior Group Accountant. This role reports to the Deputy Group Financial Controller and works closely with the Group Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer as part of a highly skilled and professional Finance team. This key role will be responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting for the Group. Main Responsibilities: Reviewing monthly consolidation, including drafting sections of the Board report Half year results consolidation and interim accounts preparation Assisting with the statutory financial statements including Plc consolidated accounts and 7 trading subsidiaries (all IFRS) Consolidating forecasts and annual budget Liaising with the tax advisors to ensure completion of tax returns and quarterly instalment payments Managing the cash position of the Group through accurate tracking, forecasting and management of bank drawdowns and deposits Ad hoc projects / analysis as required The Ideal Candidate: Qualified accountant with 4+ year post qualified experience Trained in practice Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS) Experience in a listed group / consolidation environment 'Will do' attitude, ambitious team player with a strong work ethic Engaging and personable with the ability to liaise at all levels and lead from the front Benefits: Generous holiday entitlement of 26 days per annum + bank holidays Choice of company car/ car allowance Discretionary Bonus Scheme Holiday Buy Back Scheme Company Pension Scheme Private Medical Insurance Scheme Healthshield membership Life Assurance Scheme Share Purchase Plan Highstreet/ Store Discounts Development OpportunitiesThe following content displays a map of the job's location.
