Job Description
Senior Grade Physiotherapist

Enable Ireland provides services to more than 13,000 children and adults with disabilities across 43 locations in 14 counties. Our teams support individuals and their families from infancy through adulthood, offering a full range of physical, educational, and social development services.

Locations

Leopardstown (Dublin South East, CHO6) - The office is located within a HSE building in Leopardstown Shopping Centre, close to the Luas Green Line and the M50. It offers easy access for commuters and convenient amenities.

Sandymount - Situated in a seaside village, this office is within walking distance of Sandymount Strand and is served by the DART commuter train and local bus routes.

Contract Information

Contract Type: Permanent Post

Contract Hours: Full time and part time posts available

Salary Scale: €62,072 - €73,477 pro rata per annum (subject to LSI).

Annual Leave: 33 days pro rata per annum (proportionally less for less than 12 months of service).

Responsibilities

Provide physiotherapy support to a designated caseload, including children and families on the community team or a special school team. Activities include assessment, diagnostics, intervention, clinical and performance supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children aged 0 18 years with physical, sensory, and/or learning disabilities.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Registered or eligible for registration on the Physiotherapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
  • Three years full time or equivalent aggregate post qualification clinical experience.
  • High standard of suitability and professional ability for the duties of the office.
  • Proof of statutory registration before contract issuance.
  • Annual registration maintained and confirmed on the CORU register.
  • Eligible to work in the State.
  • Minimum one year post qualification experience working with children with physical disability.
  • Evidence of relevant CPD.
  • Two years' experience in a children's disability service.
  • Experience in interdisciplinary team working.
  • Experience supervising students or therapy assistants.
